Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data PDFResim processes when you use the service, why we process it and how long we keep it.

1. Data We Process

When you use PDFResim, we may process the following data:

  • Uploaded files. Files are processed temporarily only to perform the operation you selected.
  • Account information. If you create an account, we may store your email address and optional profile name.
  • Usage and operation data. Limited technical metadata such as the tool used, operation time, file name/type/size, operation status and account identifier.
  • Technical data. Browser/device details, session identifiers, a salted IP digest used for quota and abuse controls, and error/performance logs.

2. Retention

  • Uploaded and generated file contents: Input and downloadable result files may be kept in private storage for the processing/download window: 1 hour for guests, 6 hours for free accounts, and 24 hours for premium and API accounts. They are deleted by the first successful automatic cleanup run after that window expires.
  • Download links: Signed download links expire after a short time.
  • Operation and security records: Separately from file contents, limited technical metadata such as tool/operation type, time, status, file name/type/size, account identifier and salted IP digest may be kept for security, quota, debugging and operation-history purposes. Deleting file contents does not mean these technical records are deleted at the same time.

3. Service Providers and International Transfers

We do not sell or share your data for third parties' own purposes. We use infrastructure providers for hosting, database/file storage and PDF/image processing so the service can operate.

Plausible or Umami may be used for aggregate site measurement only when the relevant production configuration is enabled; Vercel Web Analytics may also be active when the application runs on Vercel. These services may process technical visit data such as page views, referrers and browser/device details. Sentry is used for error and performance monitoring only when a Sentry connection is configured; default transmission of personal data is disabled in the application.

If you purchase a premium plan, your email address and account identifier are transferred to our payment provider Lemon Squeezy (USA) to process payment and billing. If advertising is explicitly enabled on the site, Google AdSense (USA) may process cookie/device data; in that case separate cookie consent is obtained. Transfers abroad are made under Article 9 of the Turkish data protection law and, where required, with your explicit consent. See the Data Protection Notice for details.

4. Cookies

We use necessary cookies for sign-in, security and language preference; these do not require consent. If advertising (Google AdSense) is explicitly enabled on the site, advertising and measurement cookies are loaded only after your explicit consent, and you can change your preference at any time from the cookie banner or the Cookie preferences button in the footer. 5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. For Turkey-specific data protection details, see the Data Protection Notice.
