What can you get from an audio or video file?
Upload the file once and get both a plain text transcript and a subtitle file from the same run. The spoken language is detected automatically across more than 90 languages, so you do not have to pick it beforehand.
To turn speech into text
Transcribe a meeting recording, an interview, a lecture or a podcast. You can preview the text on screen and copy it, or download it as TXT; it comes back split into readable paragraphs.
To get a subtitle file
The same run also produces an SRT or VTT subtitle file. Both formats upload directly to common video editors and to YouTube, so you never have to type timecodes by hand.
Length limits
Without an account you can process up to 15 minutes of audio or video; a free account raises the limit to 30 minutes and Premium to 2 hours. Longer recordings can be split and uploaded in parts.
